Company: Zyntha Consulting (Pty) Ltd Job Type: Permanent Location: Middelburg, Mpumalanga Closing Date: 31 December 2023 : . Zyntha Consulting is looking for an experienced Environmental Specialist/Environmental Assessment Practitioner to join their team in Middelburg. Qualifications

• 3 but preferably 5 years' experience in environmental consulting (mining industry experience will be advantageous).
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Environmental or Natural sciences or similar qualification.
• Registration as a professional scientists (SACNASP) and/or EAPASA would be preferred.
• Must be able to proactively manage large EIA projects (including WULAs), take responsibility of resource allocation, liaise with clients, specialists, and authorities, manage quality assurance/client feedback and ensure he/she meets quality, safety and timeframe targets.
• Must have a sound knowledge of environmental legislation and the EIA process, IWULA process and WML processes.
• Experience in undertaking compliance audits.
• Managing monthly monitoring and reporting requirements for water and dust for multiple sites.
• Must be able to complete and review reports.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Should have a valid driver's license.
• Excellent report writing skills.
• Proficient in spoken and written English.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritise work.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Should be able to work well in a team and communicate confidently with others.
• The ability to work to meet deadlines is essential.
