Hire Resolve's Client is currently looking for an Environmental Officer to join their mining company based in the Northern Cape.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and ensure compliance with environmental legislation, permits, and company policies.
- Conduct regular environmental inspections, audits, and risk assessments on-site.
- Manage environmental monitoring programs, including air quality, water quality, and waste management.
- Prepare and submit environmental reports to regulatory authorities and company management.
- Coordinate and implement environmental management systems (EMS) and ISO 14001 standards.
- Investigate environmental incidents, recommend corrective actions, and implement preventative measures.
- Grade 12
- National Diploma/Degree in Environmental Management
- Certificate in Mine Rehabilitation and Closure
- 5 years' experience as an Environmental Officer within the mining industry
- 3 years' operational Integrated Risk Management System experience
- Valid Driver's License
- Salary: Negotiable
- Paid Time Off (PTO) (If Applicable)
