Job Description
Hire Resolvexe2x80x99s client in the mining industry is urgently seeking the expertise of an Environmental Coordinator in Gauteng.
Responsibilities:
- Identifying environmental incidents, conducting investigations, and assisting with environmental impact assessments
- Conducting the sampling and interpretation of environmental monitoring data
- Conducting environmental awareness training
- Performing site inspections and audits
- Environmental engagement with relevant stakeholders
- Knowledge of ISO14001, mine closure, rehabilitation, and biodiversity management will be advantageous
- Grade 12
- Degree in Environmental Science or related
- ISO 14001 training completed
- 5 years or more experience in a plant or opencast mining setting
- Salary: R400K/yr - R642K/yr, salary negotiable
