Introduction
Our client in the automotive sector requires a customs Entry Clerk to join their team in Durban
Description
- Accurately complete all applicable Clearing and Forwarding documentation
- Fulfill bill of lading obligations
- Refunds and Drawbacks, liaising with custom specialist in obtaining revenue due
- Tariff analysis
- Incoterm analysis
- Evaluate the requirements of the file and register it onto the Cargowise System - Various types of entries to be captured (DP / RIB / IR)
- Capture the bill of entry for all import and export (Road, Sea and Air Freight)
- Booking and capturing of export orders - Tracking until delivery
- Fulfill acquittal obligations with SARS charges and arrange payment when required
- Always liaise with internal and external customers and shipping lines to ensure effective communication
- Grade 12/ Matric
- Entry clerk / Shipping qualification
- Entry clerk Experience both Imports and Exports
- Knowledge of Customs within the Automotive Industry both Imports and Exports
- Knowledge of Duty Drawbacks
- Knowledge of Tariffs and Incoterms
- 2-3 years specific Experience
- Cargowise system Experience
