Profile for Success:
- Demonstrated track record of architecting and implementing robust security solutions for complex hybrid environments (cloud and on-premises).
- Proven experience developing and embedding security reference architectures, patterns, and standards that are adopted by engineering and application teams.
- Expertise in leading threat modeling exercises and acting as the final security authority within a formal change management and governance process.
- Deep, practical knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and regulations, particularly ISO 27001, NIST, and POPIA.
- Minimum of 8 years of dedicated experience in the cybersecurity field, with a significant focus on hands-on architecture and design.
- Mandatory professional certification: ISO 27001, CRISC, CISSP, or CEH.
- A Bachelor's Degree, National Diploma in IT, or equivalent relevant qualification.
