To ensure quality and fitness for purpose of the organization's data assets. Responsible for supporting of all operational efforts to remediate data across business units. Ensuring consistency of use of the data quality artefacts across the relevant business units.
Job Responsibilities
Support and monitor the ongoing assessment of data and business processes to detect data defects and business process inefficiencies.
Assessment of data quality controls, business rules and thresholds and their application to a defined set of data or metrics. Includes activities such as data profiling, matching, parsing and root cause analysis to identify the cause of data quality issues.
Ensure that all stakeholders are informed about data quality issues through reporting based on the results of data quality monitoring and assessment to drive remediation initiatives.
Identify, prioritise, plan and track data remediation initiatives based on the results of data quality monitoring and assessment across the enterprise and see them to conclusion.
Provide input and minimum requirements into the development of data quality standards by cluster data management organisations (data and metrics owners and data stewards) to ensure alignment across the enterprise.
Ensure that minimum data quality requirements to be met by all clusters are set to improve data quality score.
Use of Ab Initio to develop technical data quality rules and create a dashboard to report across all data quality dimensions
Attend relevant sessions to drive adoption of data quality best practices
Stay abreast of industry trends and developments
Understanding of metadata management and how it is used to support data quality.

Process engineering, process optimisation, Business analysis
Minimum Experience Level
10 years' experience, most of which should be in financial sector
Data manipulation experience
Solid understanding of Data Quality dimensions
Knowledge of programming languages
