Job Description

Mango5 is seeking a motivated and empathetic Enrolment Specialist to join our growing international healthcare operations team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for potential participants, guiding them through the initial steps of joining clinical studies that contribute to advancing global medical research.
The ideal candidate is compassionate, detail-oriented, and professional, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment that demands accuracy, empathy, and strong communication skills.
Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct outbound calls to engage and pre-screen potential participants for clinical studies.
  • Explain study details clearly and compassionately, addressing any participant questions.
  • Accurately capture participant information while maintaining strict data protection and compliance with GCP and company SOPs.
  • Schedule and coordinate participant study visits, ensuring smooth handovers to internal clinical teams.
  • Make follow-up calls, send reminders, and support participants throughout the enrolment process.
  • Identify and escalate any participant safety concerns or urgent disclosures to the appropriate team members.
  • Collaborate closely with Clinical Success, Logistics, and Site Teams to meet enrolment targets and ensure participant satisfaction.
Qualifications
  • Matric
  • Bachelor's Degree (Advantageous)
  • 2+ years' experience in a call centre and healthcare, or clinical research environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Empathetic and patient-centred approach
  • Excellent attention to detail with accurate data entry and documentation skills
  • Technologically proficient and adaptable in a dynamic, high-volume setting
  • Familiarity with clinical or medical terminology and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) principles (advantageous)
  • Clear credit and criminal record
Remuneration Package
  • Basic Salary: Market-related

Working Hours
  • 45-hour work week with rotating shifts between 16:00 - 04:00 (depending on Daylight Savings)
