Purpose of Position: To provide quality customer service to consumers within the legal-ethical framework of the nursing profession in a phlebotomy environment.

Requirements: Certificate: Phlebotomy techniques, First Aid (Level 1), Grade 12, HPCSA Registration in Relevant Register and Practice Field

Required Experience: Knowledge: Meditech system, Knowledge: MS Excel, Knowledge: MS Word, Knowledge: National Health Act, Knowledge: Nursing Council Scope of Practice, Nursing experience within a hospital and/or laboratory environment, Phlebotomy experience in a laboratory environment

Key Responsibilities: Manage money/cash flow of depot to facilitate collection of payments for phlebotomy services rendered, Perform phlebotomy procedures in order to ensure sufficient delivery of nursing services, Perform phlebotomy related administrative tasks to ensure correct recording and processing of information, To provide quality customer service to consumers within the legal-ethical framework of the nursing profession in a phlebotomy environment, To provide quality customer service to consumers within the legal-ethical framework of the nursing profession in a phlebotomy environment
