DIVISION:
ISIPINGO HOSPITAL - THEATRE
JOB TITLE:
ENROLLED NURSE
PURPOSE OF POSITION
To Provides age-appropriate patient care according to the nursing scope of practice as defined by the South
African Nursing Council (SANC).
KEY PERFOMANCE AREAS
- Must be able to practice within the scope of practice as an Enrolled Nurse.
- Must be compliant with Hospital Policies and Regulations.
- Must possess excellent inter-personal skills.
- Must be able to provide safe, quality patient care in the ward.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
(Educational Qualifications & Exp.
- Must be registered with SANC as an Enrolled Nurse.
- Preferably have two or more years of experience as an Enrolled Nurse in Theatre.
- Must have experience as an anaesthetic and circulating nurse.
(Practical &
Technical)
- Must have excellent telephone skills.
- Must possess excellent inter-personal skills.
- Must be able to work independently under minimum supervision.
- Must be computer literate
