Job Description
Limpopo Oncology Clinic (LOC) is a wholistic cancer clinic based in Polokwane with outreach clinics in Tzaneen. The clinic offers chemotherapy and radiotherapy services and participates in clinical trials.
We are looking to recruit an Enrolled Nurse to join our team of Specialists, Oncology Nurses, Radiotherapist and Supportive administrative staff provide fundamental nursing care to patients under the supervision of Registered nurse
- Monitoring of vital signs
- Administering of medication (chemotherapy) in our x2 clinics in Polokwane and Tzaneen
- Monitoring of patients receiving chemotherapy treatment for side effects
- Maintain accurate patients records and contribute to the care planning process
- Work as part of the healthcare team, collaborating with Registered Nurses and Doctors to plan and implement patient care
- Give health education to patients on chemotherapy treatment
- Participate in Medical education, Academic activities and be willing to travel
- Report any side effects to the supervisor/Registered Nurse
- Do treatment plans/motivations with medical aids
- Do medical aid follow ups as required
- Assist on clinical trials /study/research
- Current SANC registration certificate
- Enrolled Nurse Certificate/Qualifications
- Basic life support
- Computer skills will be added advantage
- 2-3 years experience
- Valid drivers license
- Candidate must be between 25 years to 40 years old
