Job Description
Job Purpose:
Correct collection, handling and transportation of samples for testing.
Assist with self-collection of samples. Assist with certain
medical procedures under supervision of a Registered nurse or a Doctor.
Perform point of care testing.
Qualification / Knowledge
Grade 12 Certificate
2-3 Years experience
Qualified Enrolled Nurse
Registered with SANC
Valid drivers License (for use of company vehicle)

Key Accountabilities
1. Collection / Delivery of specimens,
reports and other itemsa. Effective collection of specimens from various clients as per SOPs
b. Handle administrative duties and queries as appropriate
c. Maintain safe and housekeeping standards per OH Act.
d. Provide functional support in the department.
2. Quality Management
a. Ensure the correct application for quality assurance processes in standard
operating procedures
b. Adherence to company policies and procedures
3. Living the JDJ Diagnostics Value System
a. Comply with Customer Focus requirements
b. Accountability to patients, supporters, and all members of the team.
c. Display respect and ethical behavior
d. Good team player, with good communication skills
