Job Description
Medwell SA is seeking an Enrolled nurse to join our team in Darrenwood retirement village in Linden, Randburg.
Qualifications Required:
Enrolled Nurse registered with South African Nursing Council Interest and knowledge in Primary community healthcare services Knowledge and good understanding of Older Person's Act, responsibilities and accountable as per the Scope of Practice Knowledge and practical experience of the clinical and administrative requirements and procedures that is expected within the remit Scope of Practice Minimum 5 year's work experience
Observe resident's general health status. Measure and record temperature, pulse, blood pressure, respiration, and blood sugar levels Execution of basic wound care, injections, oxygen therapy and maintenance of fluid balance Complete relevant documentation according to legal requirements Keep adequate written records of all encounters with residents Administering of medication in Assisted Living units as and when required
