Introduction
A Vacancy have arisen for an Enrolled Nurse at Life Nkanyisa Algoa Psych situated in Mission Road, Bethelsdorp, PE. Reporting to the Unit Manager. The successful candidates will contribute towards the effective functioning of the unit and ensure quality nursing care to all patients.
Critical Outputs
Patient Care:

• Determine and administer medication, manage patient complaints following LHC process, analyses vital data in terms physical condition of patients and give reports to and from other colleagues and sub-ordinates.
• Observing reactions to medication, special diets and treatment plans.
• Implementing health, safety and infection control standards.
• Contribute towards accurate record keeping by recording and reporting any changes in patients' physical condition and referral to medical practitioners.

Health Education:

• Participate in health education or learning programmes for the patients, families, communication and staff.

In-service training:

• Participate, attend in-service training, teaching of sub-ordinates, and engage in CPD training.

Material and Human Resource:

• Manage ward stock, accurate inventory and determine material needs
• Supervise sub-ordinates, delegate responsibilities, maintaining discipline, orientate new employees and manage staff allocation in the unit.

Administration:

• Maintain accurate patient information documentation by adhering to the nursing process, keeping records of referrals and incident reporting.

Requirements

• Grade 12/Matric
• Current registration with SANC as an Enrolled Nurse
• 1 year experience
• Be able to work under pressure
