Position: English Teacher (Grades 7-9) Benoni
Start date: January 2026
Key Responsibilities

English lessons per week to Grades 7-9, aligned with the CAPS curriculum.
Prepare engaging and well-structured lessons that develop students' skills in reading, writing, speaking, and critical analysis.
Monitor student progress through regular assessment and provide constructive feedback.
Support the school's academic programme and participate in meetings, parent communication, and professional development.
Contribute to maintaining a positive, respectful classroom and school environment.

Requirements

A Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a related field (essential).
A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, B.Ed., or equivalent).
Excellent written and spoken English.
Strong organisational skills to balance teaching and administrative duties.
Ability to collaborate with colleagues and communicate effectively with students, parents and guardians.
Commitment to professional growth and ongoing learning.
