Job Description
Hire Resolve's client, a leading engineering firm specializing in large-scale infrastructure projects, is currently seeking a skilled Engineering Surveyor with a strong background in road construction to join their site team in Durban.xe2x80x8b
Responsibilities:
Assist the Resident Engineer in accurately mapping and marking out land for all project aspects.xe2x80x8b
Ensure road infrastructure, including all structures, is built according to setting out plans and specifications.xe2x80x8b
Conduct regular site inspections and survey measurements to ensure adherence to plans and specifications, identifying any deviations or issues.xe2x80x8b
Collect data using various instruments, including total stations, GPS, and 3D laser scanners.xe2x80x8b
Inspect and verify the accuracy of quantities claimed for completed work.xe2x80x8b
Train and mentor Survey Students in mentorship programs.xe2x80x8b
Participate in site project meetings.xe2x80x8b
Assist in collecting data to accurately prepare as-built drawings.xe2x80x8b
Requirements:
National Diploma in Surveying or Civil Engineering.xe2x80x8b
10+ years of surveying experience in roads, bridges, and civil projects.xe2x80x8b
Medically fit with no limitations.xe2x80x8b
Valid driver's license is essential.xe2x80x8b
