Engineering Production Manager

Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plan, cost, implement, and manage customer projects according to Order Management standards.
- Perform short-term and mid-term production plans.
- Coordinate overall planning of the project and decide on resource allocation.
- Monitor milestones, adherence to cost, and timelines.
- Maintain consistent communication with Client Managers and stakeholders.
- Update programs and maintain forecast accuracy.
- Clarify customers' requirements and SOW
- Prepare costing and timelines for quotation submissions.
- Continuously liaise with accountable Client Managers.
- Ensure on-time delivery and cost effectiveness.
- Minimum Grade 12 or Equivalent Tertiary qualification.
- National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- 5 years of relevant work experience in heavy engineering.
- Clear understanding of manufacturing drawings.
- Exposure to CNC, conventional lathes, and milling machines.
- Proven track record of driving efficiency in manufacturing environments.
