The role:

Assist the engineering artisan in performing his/her duties and operate TMM/s or equipment necessary as required by work performed by the engineering section to which he/she is assigned.

Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

Working safely in accordance with the Mine Standards and Procedures and the Mine Health and Safety Act and Regulations Comply to the Zivikele Rules Comply with Seriti's Standards and Procedures Operation of mobile machinery and mine LDV's Cleaning workshops, vehicles & maintaining good housekeeping standards Assisting Artisan with day-to-day tasks Perform any other duties in and around your area of work as per operational requirements Identifying faults on electrical cables at Reticulation workshop Have a good understanding regarding cable work & repairs Material handling and working at heights & in confined spaces Patrolling Conveyors and reporting defects to the supervisors Inspection on samplers for proper operation

Requirements:

Grade 12 with Math (not Math Literacy) and Science

or

National Certificate with N2 Math and Science Equipment Specific Licenses Technical Ability Assessment High regard for safety regulations, policies, and standards with an excellent safety record Have sound knowledge of safety systems and standard To be an active safety role model The ability to read, write and communicate in English Willing and able to work overtime, shifts, standbys, and call outs when required Must be able to work in a team Be able to cope with pressure in a production environment Must be prepared to do a practical driving assessment and be deemed competent Must be willing to undergo a behavioral assessment Must have a valid K53 driver's license In possession or able to obtain a valid Certificate of Fitness

Advantageous:

Code 10 or 14 driver's license N2 Subjects Previous Mining or Earth-moving experience
