Hire Resolve is currently partnering with a leading steel supplier company in the industry, who is seeking an Engineering Manager to join their team. This position will be based in Gauteng.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the engineering team to ensure the efficient running of the department and the successful completion of projects
• Develop and implement engineering strategies, plans, and goals to drive performance and achieve business objectives
• Oversee the design, development, and implementation of engineering projects, ensuring adherence to quality standards and timelines
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address engineering-related issues and drive continuous improvement
• Manage budgets and resources effectively, ensuring cost-efficiency and maximized productivity
• Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety regulations and promote a culture of safety within the engineering department

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
• Proven experience in a managerial role within the steel supplier industry
• In-depth knowledge of steel manufacturing processes and technologies
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and practices
