Key Responsibilities


Mentor/grow/retain engineers and strengthen relationships across internal and external and local


and remote resources


Bring Conversational AI projects to life: Lead/organize the engineering team, define


architectural/technical requirements, develop and improve the platform, integrate with other


systems, collaborate with Sutherland Global and client teams to gather technical requirements,


support, educate


Develop standards to ensure scalability, system resiliency and performance


Enhance tools and processes to accelerate development, improve teamwork, increase efficiency,


capabilities, robustness, quality, etc


Work with a diverse team across multiple time zones (in-house & offshore)


Work with Data Scientists, Machine learning experts and external partners to drive improvements


to the AI/ML capabilities of the platform


Provide thought leadership on technologies, development and collaboration processes, industry


standard methodologies.


Qualifications:


10+ years of experience leading and building scalable web products, services and platforms


Experience building large scale application architectures in complex environments


Experience with cloud-native builds working with API end-points, microservices and


contemporary web architectures


Experience with modern dev/ops architectures and tools


Fluent in several of these languages: NodeJS, Javascript, Python, Rails, etc.


You have full-stack cloud infrastructure knowledge with appreciation of high availability systems


across wide-ranging environments, including legacy systems


Prior experience across different working environments, including: agency/dev shop, enterprise,


startups and innovation divisions a plus


Prior experience with Chatbot/IVR, ML/AI development, messaging apps and platforms


development a plus


Prior experience with data science, ML/AI development, Amazon Lex, Google DialogFlow,


meya.ai, Watson a plus
