Engineering Manager â?? Electrical

Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage, and mentor a team of electrical engineers and designers
- Oversee the full engineering lifecycle, from concept design through to implementation and commissioning
- Ensure compliance with relevant engineering standards, codes, and quality systems
- Provide technical governance, design approval, and risk management across projects
- Collaborate with project management, procurement, and commercial teams to ensure successful delivery
- Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and operational efficiency within the engineering department
- BEng Electrical Engineering (essential)
- Professionally registered or eligible for registration (advantageous)
- Proven experience in an Engineering Manager or Senior Engineering leadership role
- Strong background in electrical engineering projects, preferably within power generation, substations, or industrial environments
- Demonstrated ability to manage teams, budgets, and multiple projects concurrently
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
