Berea Technical College has exciting lecturing positions available at its Durban Campus:
Mechanical Engineering Lecturer
Electrical (Heavy, Light and Instrumentation) Engineering Lecturer
Chemical Engineering Lecturer
Civil Engineering Lecturer
Required Qualifications and Experience
Diploma/Degree in: Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical Engineering and Civil Engineering
2 years teaching/ lecturing or facilitation experience.
2 years Industry experience advantageous.
Qualification in Education (PGCE/Facilitator/Assessor/Moderator) an added advantage.
Online lecturing and learning management systems (LMSs) experience an added advantage.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Administrative or clerical, and strong organisational skills
Good command of English, good verbal and written communication skills
Responsibilities
Lecturing Chemical/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering Subjects
Teaching, learning and Assessments both contact and via online platforms
Content development to support teaching and learning
Marking and diagnostic analysis of Test to provide support and feedback
Career Guidance and Invigilation
Ensuing all student portfolios and lecturer's portfolios are kept up to date
