Job title: Engineering Graduate (Embedded Software)
Location: Johannesburg (Office-based)
A vacancy is available for an Engineering Graduate in embedded software development and electronic design and development.
The company develops electronic systems for the South African mining and industrial sectors.
Requirements:

• B.Eng or M.Eng Electronic | Computer | Mechatronic | Biomedical | Electrical Engineering degree.
• BSc Electrical (Information) Engineering degree or higher.
• No postgraduate experience required.
• Candidate must have an interest in electronic design and development, embedded software development and system integration.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role.
• Own transport and a valid driver's license.
• South African citizenship is essential.

Role description:

• Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team to design and develop electronic products and systems.
• Embedded software development, coding and testing for drivers and application code.
• Linux-based application software development, coding and testing.
• System integration and debugging.
• Technical specification and documentation
• Liaison with the client on system requirements
• Preparation of technical product support documents.
