Job Description
Engineering Foreman
Type: Permanent | Location: Rustenburg Reporting to the Engineer, this role requires a skilled individual to oversee underground engineering operations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the engineering team
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- Inspect equipment and machinery to identify and address issues
- Train and mentor junior staff members
- Collaborate with other departments to meet project deadlines and goals
- Proven experience as an Engineering Foreman in the mining industry
- Valid Trade Certificate (Diesel Mechanic will be advantageous)
- Knowledge of underground mining operations and equipment
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and solve problems effectively
- Certification in Engineering or a related field
