Job Description
Our client, a prestigious turnkey engineering and steel fabrication company, seeks to employ an experienced Document Controller, with a solid background in the Engineering/Construction sector to join their team in Cape Town.
Please Note that this role is project focused, therefore, experience in the Document Control, specifically within the engineering, construction or civils sector is essential
KEY REQUIREMENTS TO MEET FOR CONSIDERATION
- You will have completed Matric, coupled with 3-5 years experience in database management, document control, drawing releases, coordinating inter-department document transfer, as well as maintaining tender documentation.
- You will have a solid background in reporting on tenders and projects, as well as control logs and databooks and uploading production schedules for fabrication.
- A proven track record in understanding technical processes for medium and large scale projects is essential and the ability to provide technical administrative support to various departments on and off site.
- You will have excellent coordination skills, communicate effectively and be able to multitask efficiently
- Advanced MS Office skills, including SharePoint and M-Files is essential
- You must have a valid driverxe2x80x99s licence, own car and a clear criminal and credit record
