MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The job incumbent will be responsible for the safely carrying out preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment and installation work when required in line with documented work instructions.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION REGARDING THE JOB
In this position, the job incumbent will be part of the Dry section Engineering team. The Dry section Engineering team performs the value-add activities of the process to ensure that the production activities in the section continues uninterrupted. The incumbent's role is a key function to this team, as the person will be responsible to assist in the smooth operation of the Dry section with specific attention required on rotating equipment such as conveyor belts, screw conveyors, chain conveyors, rotary kilns, compressors, pumps, hydraulic systems, bag filters, gearboxes, fans and agitators.
