Job Description
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
GCC 2.13.1 Accreditation (Mandatory)
Proven Engineering Accreditation (Advantageous)
Bachelor's Degree or National Diploma in Electrical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering or related field
Matric certificate/ equivalent
MS Office Proficiency
Valid Driver's License and reliable own vehicle
Medically Fit
EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
10-15 years of Underground Mining experience as Engineer
Sound knowledge of Trackless Development
Proven track record of managing TMM Fleet
Strong understanding of Underground Mining methods and safety protocols
Proficiency in engineering software and ERP systems
Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills
Have knowledge and understanding of Contract Management
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Plan, design, and oversee Underground Engineering Operations
Optimise the use, maintenance, and repair of TMM Fleet
Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations
Monitor production targets and implement corrective actions where needed
Collaborate with cross-functional Technical Service Teams
Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies
Maintain accurate technical documentation and reporting
Support operational decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives
