Key Responsibilities: (What are the top 4 focus areas of the job, Safety First is required)

• Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.
• To monitor efficiency of all equipment, to establish TOC cost, and make recommendations on maintenance interventions where power and water saving will be the key
• Responsible for all warranty investigations, and present recommendations to the Client on best practice and process optimization where failures occurred due to upstream and downstream fluctuations and failures that can lead to premature failures on our equipment
• Set up a complete LCC of all Weir equipment on site to determine MTBF, and roll out a maintenance plan for condition based maintenance.
• Work closely with our Field Service Team and the Condition Monitoring Team (Tellotec) based on site to achieve the desired outcome.
• Responsible for adhering to the Life Cycle Asset Management (LCAM) process throughout the entire life cycle of new and old assets.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree (mechanical / process) with minimum 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Pr. Eng. South African Asset Management Association Member, Risk Based Inspection Certified, Valid Driverxe2x80x99s license.
