Engineer (lead Water & Sanitation)
Job Description
Our client within the commercial engineering space is seeking a LEAD ENGINEER (CIVIL), specializing in WATER & SANITATION. Candidates are required to have a completed BSc/BEng or BTech/BEng Tech in Civil Engineering with a Professional registration as a Pr Eng or Pr Tech Eng. A master's degree in civil engineering or related field would be advantageous.
Candidates must have proven experience in the consulting engineering industry as well as having experience in undertaking planning, design, and management of water and sanitation projects for all six stages as per ECSA.
Requirements Include:
- Experience using FIDIC, and GCC contracts.
- Exposure to NEC would be advantageous.
- The ability to design bulk water & sanitation infrastructure, as well as the planning & implementation.
- Proficient in MS Office Suit, MS Project, EPANET, Civil 3D or similar design software.
- A keen eye for detail and the ability to work under pressure.
- Willingness to travel locally & internationally as required.
