RANGR Data is a US-based advanced data engineering and analytics consulting firm, and a certified partner of Palantir. We help clients implement and support the most advanced data operations platform: Palantir Foundry

Role Overview:





As an AI Engagement Director at RANGR Data, you will lead the engagement between our customers and our engineers, analyzing customer objectives, designing solutions and leading the implementation of those solutions by the engineers. We are looking for experienced leaders in this space who have delivered multiple successful projects.

Key Responsibilities:





Understand and analyze customer objectives, needs and challenges. Design optimal solutions to address these objectives, needs and challenges. Document and communicate the solution to the engineering teams. Project manage the implementation of solutions, ensuring delivery against requirements. Take ownership of client engagements and solutions to ensure clients love what we deliver. Where required, manage communication around production support matters. Contribute to the strategic planning and development of customer success practices at RANGR Data. Deliver professional communication to clients and team members.



Qualifications and Skills:





Bachelor's or Master's degree, ideally in a technical or science-related field. 5 to 10 years of experience designing and delivering technical solutions with engineers, with data engineering solutions preferred. Basic understanding of data engineering concepts, proficiency in SQL, Python, and data modeling preferred. Experience with Palantir Foundry is preferred. Strong problem-solving skills and a strategic mindset.

Time Zone Availability:






Since you will primarily be supporting our US-based clients, you will be expected to be available by email and Microsoft Teams to respond to client requests that are time sensitive, between 2pm and 10pm South Africa time. Most days we do not anticipate that there will be late requests, however, since you are client facing we do expect you will be busy until 8pm on most days and later on a few occasions.






We are flexible in how you wish to organize your time, however, the time zone difference may not negatively impact the performance of our services.
