Job Description

The successful incumbent should embody high energy levels, an achiever with a passion for business success, who is highly driven and enjoys working in a high pressurised environment with a sound understanding of labour practices and strategic thinking, excellent communication skills on all levels with strong people skills and a positive mindset are essential.


Minimum Requirements




Matric (Grade 12) Tertiary Qualification in Human Resource/Employee Relations/IR qualification will be advantageous. 1 year working experience in HR/ IR related roles Computer literate - advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel Strong written and verbal communication skills Knowledge of various Labour legislation (LRA, BCEA, EE,) preferable



Key Performance Areas




Execute compliance monitoring processes, such as Labour Inspector visits Check all disciplinary documentation received and ensure 100% compliance Promoting harmonious workplace relations and sound employment practices in accordance with relevant labor legislation and the company's policies and procedures Assist with investigation of incidents and ensure fair and consistent application of the disciplinary code Arrange hearings where applicable Assist with the preparation of all disciplinary enquiries Assist with drafting of communications and preparations of documentation relating to CCMA cases Keep proper records of all IR related matters Drafting of communication: Emails, letters, reports
