Job Description
The successful incumbent should embody high energy levels, an achiever with a passion for business success, who is highly driven and enjoys working in a high pressurised environment with a sound understanding of labour practices and strategic thinking, excellent communication skills on all levels with strong people skills and a positive mindset are essential.
Minimum Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Tertiary Qualification in Human Resource/Employee Relations/IR qualification will be advantageous.
- 1 year working experience in HR/ IR related roles
- Computer literate - advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of various Labour legislation (LRA, BCEA, EE,) preferable
- Execute compliance monitoring processes, such as Labour Inspector visits
- Check all disciplinary documentation received and ensure 100% compliance
- Promoting harmonious workplace relations and sound employment practices in accordance with relevant labor legislation and the company's policies and procedures
- Assist with investigation of incidents and ensure fair and consistent application of the disciplinary code
- Arrange hearings where applicable
- Assist with the preparation of all disciplinary enquiries
- Assist with drafting of communications and preparations of documentation relating to CCMA cases
- Keep proper records of all IR related matters
- Drafting of communication: Emails, letters, reports
