Job Description
Our client provides trusted healthcare, emergency response and professional support services across South Africa. MHR, is currently looking for Basic Ambulance Assistants (BAA/BLS) to work fixed contract (ASAP till end June 2026) at a private emergency services facility in Cape Town in Western Cape province.

- Basic Life Support Practitioner qualification is essential
- Professional registration with the HPCSA as a BAA/BLS
- A valid drivers' license (including a Public Drivers Permit - PrDP)
- Knowledge of the EMS environment
- Knowledge and application of HPCSA guidelines and scope of practice
- Working knowledge and experience of Patient Report Forms
- Upholds high ethical and professional standards
- Follows instructions and adheres to procedures
- Works accurately and thoroughly by attending to detail
- Responds constructively to pressure and perseveres through challenges
- Collaborates with and supports colleagues in order to achieve shared goals
- Strives to identify and deliver on clients' needs and a continued focus on the client experience
- If you obtained your qualification before 2018, you must have completed your Clinical Practice Guidelines (CPG) Certificate.
- Administers patient care in line with the BAA/BLS scope of practice
