MHR is currently recruiting Advanced Life Support Practitioners (ALS) / Emergency Care Practitioners (ECP) to work part-time shifts at a private facility in Bloemfontein in the Free State. Requirements o Advanced Life Support Practitioner (CCA, Ndip) qualification is essential o Professional registration with HPCSA as an ALS/ Paramedic o A valid drivers' license (including a Public Drivers Permit - PrDP) o Proven operational experience as a Paramedic or newly qualified Paramedic - 1 year's ALS operational experience will be advantageous o Sound knowledge of the EMS environment o Knowledge and application of HPCSA guidelines and scope of practice o Working knowledge and experience of Patient Report Forms o Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Key Outputs o Attends to emergency calls and provides advanced medical care in line with scope of practice o Oversees and ensures operational readiness for emergency calls o Liaison with trauma staff and doctors o Provides basic shift administration services
