Job Description

MHR is looking for experienced Advanced Life Support Practitioners (ALS) / Emergency Care Practitioners (ECP) to work part-time EVENTS shifts in Kimberley in the Northern Cape province.

Requirements

• Advanced Life Support Practitioner (CCA, Ndip) or other relevant qualification is essential
• Professional registration with HPCSA as an ALS/Paramedic or Emergency Care Practitioner (ECP)
• A valid drivers' license
• A valid Professional Driving Permit (PrDP) licence is preferred, if no PrDP licence, will only be able to work events
• Proven operational experience as a Paramedic or newly qualified Paramedic - 1 year's ALS operational experience will be advantageous
• Sound knowledge of the EMS environment
• Knowledge and application of HPCSA guidelines and scope of practice
• Working knowledge and experience of Patient Report Forms
• Upholds high ethical and professional standards
• Responds constructively to pressure and perseveres through challenges
• Collaborates with and supports colleagues in order to achieve shared goals
• Reaches sound decisions through the evaluation of relevant information
• Strives to identify and deliver on patient's needs and continuously focus on the patient experience
• When did you obtain your emergency service qualification?
• If you qualified prior to 2018, please confirm whether you have completed a Clinical Practice Guidelines (CPG) Certificate.
