Job Advert Summary

MHR is looking for experienced Ambulance Emergency Assistant Practitioners (AEA/ILS) to work part-time shifts (OPERATIONS and EVENTS) in Brits in North West province. BENEFITS:

Minimum Requirements

  • Ambulance Emergency Assistant qualification is essential
  • Professional registration with the HPCSA as an AEA/ILS
  • A valid driversxe2x80x99 license and valid Professional Driving Permit (PrDP) (Requirement for Operations shifts. If only going to work events, no PrDP required)
  • Previous work experience within an Emergency Medical Services environment is essential
  • 1 year's AEA/ILS operational experience will be advantageous
  • Sound knowledge of the EMS environment
  • Knowledge and application of HPCSA guidelines and scope of practice
  • Working knowledge and experience of Patient Report Forms
  • Upholds high ethical and professional standards
  • Follows instruction and adheres to procedures
  • Works accurately and thoroughly by attending to detail
  • Responds constructively to pressure and perseveres through challenges
  • Collaborates with and supports colleagues in order to achieve shared goals
  • Strives to identify and deliver on clients' needs and a continued focus on the client experience

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensures operational readiness for emergency calls
  • Administers patient care in line with the AEA/ILS scope of practice
