Job Description


Embedded design engineer required at company who does Cutting edge inverter design technologies for the commercial market. Electronic/ Computer engineer required who is passionate about High and Low Level embedded designs. Must be passionate about designs and programming. We require someone that will enjoy developing products from first principle designs. Engineering degree or Hons degree in Computer Science key requirement.

Embedded Engineer

Randburg

Software Application Engineer required to play an integral part in the development of a variety of products.

Company has been in the industry for over 20 years. They specialize in electrical, electronic and electro-mechanical components. Also do Power Electronic application Product development.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

  • B.Eng. in Electronic Engineering/ Computer Engineering
  • No B. Tech Degrees will be accepted
  • 0-3 years experience in embedded design required
  • Must possess excellent troubleshooting and communication skills and have an eye for detail.
  • Out-of-the-box thinking ability.
Must have experience in:
  • Embedded Programming skills.
  • Windows based configuration and testing programs.
  • Ideally have both Linux and Windows operating systems
The successful incumbent will be responsible for:
  • Application development on the Products
(will work in collaboration with other electronic (hardware and software) engineers to do the complete Technical product design for clients in the railway, military vehicle, mine vehicle, and commercial vehicle and Railway sectors) * Create applications from scratch, configure existing systems and provide user support.
  • Overall goal is to work with internal teams to design, develop and maintain software.
  • Remain up to date with the terminology, concepts and best practices for coding apps.
  • Develop technical interfaces, specifications, and architecture.
  • Create and test software prototypes.
  • Develop client displays and user interfaces.
