Electronic Embedded Design Engineer
Johannesburg East
Commercial development at Consulting and Product development company.
The engineer we require will be responsible for software development on low-level C programming. The suitable candidate must have a strong mathematical background
We require an engineer with more than 2 years of solid Microprocessor/embedded design experience
Qualification and Skills Required:
- BEng./ MEng. Electronic Engineering
- More than 2 years experience
- Formal software design and development background
- Testing, integration, and documentation skills
- Will develop real-time embedded software
- Programming in C/C++
- Algorithm development and implementation in C on the TMS320 family of processors
- The candidate will work with highly skilled senior engineers to develop an electro-mechanical system
- Firmware skills
- Experience with formal software development processes and standards
- Testing, integration and documentation
