Our Early Learning School is Reggio Emilia-inspired, offering a nurturing, inquiry-led environment for children aged 1-6 years. We are committed to providing an internationally relevant education that fosters confidence, independence and a lifelong love of learning.


ROLE SUMMARY:



The Head of Early Learning is an inspiring and visionary educational leader who inspires excellence in early years education. You will be responsible for the academic, operational and pastoral success of the Early Learning School and for cultivating a calm, joyful and progressive environment where both children and educators thrive. You will be required to lead with insight, compassion and creativity, ensuring daily operations run smoothly, while always keeping an eye on innovative ways to move the school forward.

STRATRGIC CONTRIBUTION:


Lead the Early Learning School in alignment with the school's vision and Inspired's global standards. In collaboration with the Executive Head and Head of Preparatory, create an engaging, child-centred learning environment that is safe, inclusive and happy. Drive innovation in early years teaching and learning, grounded in current research and best practices. Foster strong relationships with parents as key partners in their child's journey. Build a collaborative, diverse and high-performing staff culture. Ensure an engaging and child-centred educational offering aligned with Inspired's global standards and opportunities. To create a positive learning environment that ensures children are able to achieve their full potential. Enhance the Inspired brand through exceptional leadership and community relationships Support ongoing professional development for staff in line with career growth pathways and our inspired Reggio Emilio approach. Regular engagement with our Inspired Head Office : Finance / HR Marketing and Enrolments

STAFF MANAGEMENT DUTIES:


Lead the Early Learning School in alignment with the school's vision, ethos, and strategic goals

Recruit, induct, develop and appraise Early Learning staff

Inspire staff through clear communication, mentorship, and a collaborative leadership style

Implement school policies, timetables, budgets, and resourcing efficiently

Foster staff cohesion and professional growth through regular meetings and a strong CPD programme

Represent the school positively in marketing efforts and parent engagement

When required, support the Disciplinary process.

STUDENT MAMAGEMENT DUTIEA:


Ensure a safe, joyful, and stimulating learning environment

Champion safeguarding responsibilities in line with legal and Inspired policies

Communicate regularly and transparently with families

Support high standards of student behaviour and wellbeing

Oversee the admissions process and liaise with prospective parents

Celebrate student achievement and progress through visible leadership

Passion for early childhood education and a deep understanding of how children learn. High emotional intelligence, calm demeanour and strong interpersonal skills. Excellent communication, organisational and time management abilities. Forward-thinking, solution-oriented and innovative mindset. Ability to engage families with empathy, professionalism and clarity. Strong leadership and mentoring skills to build and retain an exceptional teaching team. Confidence in using digital platforms and managing school administration efficiently. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace. Ability to build positive relationships with stakeholders. OPERTATIONAL EXCELLLENCE:


Oversee daily campus operations with a solutions-focused, proactive mindset. Ensure all legal and safeguarding protocols are in place and rigorously upheld. Coordinate staffing, timetables, budgets and resource planning with efficiency and foresight. Provide thoughtful input into school-wide committees, forums and projects. Marketing & Community Engagement Act as an ambassador for the Early Learning School through school tours, open days and marketing initiatives. Develop creative strategies to promote the school's unique offering to prospective families. Support the admissions process and liaise with new families.
