Electronics/smart Home Automation Sales Engineer
Job Description
Our client, a well established, dynamic, growing importer and distributor of consumer goods, is expanding their product range to include high end home automation and "smart home" equipment operated via a central app, seeks to employ a vibrant and professional Sales Executive/Engineer, with a technical background in the Electronic field or related, to assist in launching these device equipment in a B2B and B2C market
Please note this role does require a candidate that is resident in the Cape Town region and who is a recent graduate with a passion for hi-tech electronics, smart home automation and who is able to provide both business development and technical support to customers and businesses in the electronic and/or smart home field.
KEY REQUIREMENTS TO MEET FOR CONSIDERATION:
- You will have a tertiary qualification in Electronic Engineering or Telecommunications/IT, coupled with 0-2 years experience in providing technical support to customers in the home automation and/or smart home field, as well as being interested in or have gained experience in developing business opportunities in the same field.
- You will have an assertive and go-getter attitude, as well as being an effective communicator, with a flair for being a expert public speaker.
- You will be seeking a career in an innovative and hi-tech environment, and have a passion for Electronics and Automation in a app format.
- You must have a valid driver's licence, own car and a clear criminal and credit record
