Job Description

RPO Recruitment's client is looking for an Electronic Technician to join their team in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and installing electronic and communication systems.
Responsibilities:
Inspect, test, and maintain electronic and communication equipment
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with communication technologies
Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure system efficiency
Install, configure, and integrate communication hardware and software
Set up and test wired and wireless communication systems
Provide technical support to staff and clients, responding to service requests
Monitor system performance and ensure compliance with safety standards
Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and vendors on system upgrades
Requirements:
Degree or diploma in Electronic Engineering, Communication Technology, or Telecommunications
At least two years of experience in electronic and communication systems (preferred)
Hands-on experience with telecommunications equipment, networking hardware, and diagnostic tools
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to interpret technical schematics
Excellent communication skills, proactive mindset, and ability to work independently or in a team
