WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR


Maintain all infrastructure and services as per job card for maximum availability Perform planned maintenance Perform breakdown maintenance Do fault finding Ensure completion of job cards within estimated time frame. Only work under general clearance certificates as per M86 and sign off task when completed Apply lock out procedure without exception Analyse drawings and plan material accordingly Plan correct procedure for specific work Planning plant maintenance tasks Be cost effective in planned maintenance Be effective in communications and build relationships with peers and subordinates Monitor and assist in developing skilled workers and Workshop assistants Assist in design and development for specific requirement Ensure adherence to RDM standards regarding ISO 9001 & 14001 Compliance to the RDM Quality standards Maintain an environment that function according to statutory requirements: i.e. Explosives Act, Occupational health and safety Act Maintain good housekeeping standards in the workshop and when performing tasks on the plant WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE


N3 qualification in Engineering. Trade Test in Electrical Engineering. At least 3 years' experience as a qualified Electrician. Knowledge of electrical installations requirements and regulations in explosive environments. Knowledge of PLC programming will be an advantage. The ability to read and understand technical drawings. Computer Literate and able to operate the Microsoft suite of products (Word, Excel, Outlook etc.) * Experience with an ERP system like SAP will be an advantage.
