Job Description
Job Purpose
Maintain the plant technology to a high level of efficiency, to deliver the required amount of product to the stipulated quality standards at the right time. Conduct preventative and reactive maintenance in the plant as required.
Key Outputs
- Ensure that manufacturing machines are optimised for quality output.
- Daily walk-through
- Ensuring that the machines properly maintained
- Ensure that breakdowns are attended to quickly and efficiently.
- Breakdowns to be recorded and trends analysed.
- Standby after hours for production
- Adhere to company policies and procedures
- Adhere to standards
- Grade 12 (Maths & Science)
- N6 Qualified Artisan- Electrical
- 6 yearsxe2x80x99 experience in Bottling Industry
- 5 yearsxe2x80x99 experience in instrumentation
- 5 yearsxe2x80x99 experience in PLC, SCADA & HMI
- 4 yearsxe2x80x99 experience in Switchgear & VSD
- 2 yearsxe2x80x99 experience in pneumatics and hydraulics
- Instrumentation, Electronic & Electrical Skills
- Fault Finding / Problem Solving Skills
- Pet Injection & Stretch Blow Moulding Processing
- Filling and packaging knowledge
- Electrical drawing / Pneumatic Drawing/ Hydraulic Drawing
- Maintenance Planning
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Maintenance Records
- Decision Making
