Job Description
A great mining company in Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape is seeking the expertise of a talented Electrician to join their team of professionals.
Responsibilities
- Conduct electrical work which supports maintenance, diagnostics, repairs and installations of mechanical equipment as per planned and un-planned workorders
- Perform planned and un-planned maintenance activities in a timeous and cost effective manner to the correct standard
- Provide feedback to the Foreman on the execution of work for Continuous Improvement of work methods, tools, standardisation and planning
- Perform preliminary failure diagnostics on equipment failures in order to take remedial action
- Identify pro-active maintenance opportunities
- Create requests for spares and materials and interact with stores issuing personnel
- Perform periodic, scheduled Asset Health Checks
- Maintain housekeeping standards
- Grade 12
- N4 Certificate in Electrical Engineering
- Electrical Trade Test Certificate
- 5 - 7 yearsxe2x80x99 experience in a plant or cement environment
