Job Summary Established electrical company in Centurion, Pretoria, requires the services of an experienced #Electrician, with a Phase 3 Wireman's License! Duties & Responsibilities include: 1. Proven experience as an electrician with 5 years' experience 2. Experience in industrial, commercial, and oil & gas industries 3. Flameproof experience in the Gas and Oil Industry would be an advantage 4. Must read electrical drawings and blueprints 5. Able to install and manage projects within specified budgets 6. Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines 7. Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability 8. Must work independently with the minimum of supervision 9. Must work within a team environment of different cultures 10. Willing to travel as per job requirements 11. Drivers License (EB) code 8 mandatory 12. No criminal or traffic violation records, due to the nature of the job 13. Must be well conversant in English and Afrikaans 14. Who We Are We are proud to introduce the Directors of Kusasa Electrical Solutions (Pty) Ltd. Thomas Andries du Preez Scheepers, known as Andre. Andre qualified as a Millwright in 1983. He worked for Iscor at Groote Geluk Coal Mine on DC Traction systems, maintaining 200 ton Titan coal haulers, Kentron building reconnaissance aircraft and missile electronics and at Delta G Scientific preformed chemical plant maintenance and installations. He was later promoted to maintenance planner. He successfully completed a course in maintaining and repairing of air-conditioners and refrigeration equipment at the Verwoerdburg Technical College and later became the Maintenance Foreman at Laursen Brothers. He did cathodic protection for the Oil Companies, whilst working for the Oil Industry Corrosion Control Group, including Caltex, Zenex, Engen, Total, Shell, BP and other refineries. Andre became a Master Electrician in 1996 where after he started his own company Elekwright CC in 1997.
