Minimum Required Qualification:

NQF 4 (National Senior Certificate or Grade 12 or National Senior Certificate for Adults) with English Literacy or N2 Engineering Studies.
Completed formal Learnership program prior to obtaining an electrical artisan trade certificate as recognized by the MQA.
Medically fit to work in the specific business area

The Appointee should:

At least 3 years experience as an Artisan Electrical with a legal appointment
Valid drivers license (if applicable
Computer skills (MS Office)
Ability to understand all schematics and diagrams pertaining to hydraulics systems
Medically fit to work in the specific business area
Clear security screening record
Valid driver licence

Key Responsibilities:

Adhere to electrical maintenance, installation and construction of work place facilities to standards and specifications
Inspect and check all electrical maintenance, installations and constructions for quality purposes
Safe, correct and effective application of equipment and machinery utilised during duties
Adherence to electrical maintenance schedules
Attending to electrical breakdowns
Escalation of unresolved breakdowns or unsuccessful electrical maintenance, installation and Construction
