The electrician will be responsible for electrical duties and breakdowns within Gauteng region.

Location: Boksburg, Johannesburg - Gauteng
Salary: Market related - R25,000.00 P.M.
Start date: ASAP
Period: Permanent

Position Overview
The electrician will be responsible for electrical duties and breakdowns within Gauteng region. The successful candidate will also be responsible for the continual assistance to training of the apprentices on site and other formal training programmes based on the businessxe2x80x99s need.

Requirements:

• Matric / Grade 12
• N4 TCS Certificate
• Red Seal Trade Tested Electrician
• Wiremanxe2x80x99s License will be an advantage.
• Minimum 5 yearsxe2x80x99 post qualification experience
• Experience in steam generation plant(boilers), including fuel (coal, HFO, biomass), water treatment or similar industrial field will be an advantage.
• Ability to problem solve and focused approach to mitigating risk and meet deadlines.
• A technical understanding of different electrical systems ranging from 12vdc to 750Vac.
• Basic knowledge and understanding of PLC, Experience on Delta/ Allen Bradley PLC will be an advantage.
• Experience on different types of VFD/VSDxe2x80x99s.
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision and be available for standby duties.
• Be prepared to undergo further training or studies.
• Good command of English (Speak, read, write).
