Emalahleni - Mpumalanga - South Africa
Site-Based Role (Witbank): We are seeking a hands-on, dependable Electrician to support electrical installation and maintenance projects across multiple sites in Witbank and its surrounding areas. This role is ideal for a technically competent professional with a strong background in single-phase systems and inverter/back-up power solutions. A willingness to travel, work independently, and solve problems in the field is essential. Medical fitness for site work is a strict requirement.
Minimum Requirements:

Electrician Trade Qualification.
Proven experience in electrical installations, especially single-phase systems.
Solid understanding of inverters, battery storage, and backup power systems.
Ability to calculate voltage drops and determine correct cable sizing.
Valid drivers license.
Medically fit for physical site work.

Preferred Qualifications:

Single-Phase Wireman License.
Experience working on multiple sites and independently managing daily schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, test, and maintain single-phase electrical systems and back-up power units.
Set up and configure inverters, battery systems, and solar components.
Calculate load, inverter size, battery and solar capacity requirements.
Determine and install correct cabling based on voltage drop calculations.
Conduct site inspections and troubleshoot faults.
Ensure compliance with SANS electrical standards and site safety protocols.
Coordinate with Project Managers to meet delivery and quality expectations.
