Electrician Durban - Kwa Zulu Natal - South Africa

We are looking for a skilled Electrical Technician to support our operations and ensure the successful installation and maintenance of our machinery. Key Responsibilities:

Build and wire electrical panels according to technical drawings.
Wire all devices on machines to their respective electrical panels.
Test and troubleshoot wired machinery to identify faults.
Assist in the mechanical assembly of machinery.
Piping of pneumatic systems.
Wire electronic circuit boards.
Conduct fault finding and maintenance on machinery at customer sites.
Install and commission machinery for customers.

Experience and Qualifications:

Minium of 3 - 5 years post trade experience
Proven experience in repairs and maintenance of industrial machinery in factory settings.
Strong understanding of electrical drawings.
Basic knowledge of PLCs, servo motors, VSDs, fieldbus devices, and sensors.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
