Job Description
Job Summary:
You will be responsible for installing and repairing complex electrical controls, wiring, and lighting systems working from a technical blueprint in accordance with regulations and standards, also fault finding on Instrumentation, switchgear, motors, VSD, and electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate:
Assist in the scheduling and planning of the electrical department within the workshop and site work.
Electrical:
Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical controls, wiring, and electrical systems. Inspecting transformers, circuit breakers, and other electrical components. Troubleshooting electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
Site:
Supervise and install electrical components on sites. Configuration and set up of electrical equipment such as VSDs and controllers.
Workshop:
Manage and ensure any electrical equipment and components in the workshop are attended to and in line with the requirements of the job.
Panel Design:
Reading technical diagrams and blueprints. Be able to hand draw designs for approval.
Parts and Pricing:
Ensuring required parts are ordered as needed and purchase request are done regarding equipment as needed and that costings are also completed.
