PG Bison Ugie Boardplant is currently recruiting for a qualified Electrical Technician and the successful individual must have the ability to communicate and manage a Team, possess a strong problem solving skills, be familiar with OHASA standards, have good knowledge of PLC and SCADA (Allen Bradley and Siemens) and good Frequency drive knowledge (Allen Bradley and SEW), should possess leadership and Management skills and must be computer literate on MS programs and Knowledge of MS Projects.

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications required:

Grade 12/Matric Recognized Electrical Trade Test N6 or Equivalent National Diploma (S4)

Skills and experience required:

At least 5 years` post trade test experience in a similar position Manufacturing environment experience would be advantageous Problem solving and Analytical Good PLC and SCADA knowledge (Allen Bradley and Siemens) Good Frequency drive knowledge (Allen Bradley and SEW) Computer literate Excellent communication skills Ability to work independently and in a team environment Commitment to company vision, values and core philosophies Dynamic and Innovative Good understanding of processes. Duties & Responsibilities

Maintenance on all electrical instrumentation and software programs. Fault finding and repair on all automation and drive equipment. perform changes to base documentation i.e., manuals, P&ID and all instrumentation drawings. Identify and inform Team leader of any health or safety hazards in the plant Develop operating envelopes and assist the production personnel in compiling and updating operating procedures. Maintain OHASA standards and ensure high levels of housekeeping. * Perform after hour standby duty on the plant
